Shaping Fire podcast host Shango Los will be judging The 2017 Golden Tarp Awards in Humboldt County, California on November 18th. Rumors are that he will be playing a role interviewing some VIPs during the live video stream of the event too. If you are unfamiliar, the Tarp awards recognize the best of the best light deprivation flowers to be harvested so far this year. Because it takes place in the Emerald Triangle of northern California, it is easy to say that it may be the most relevant cannabis cup for hardcore cannabis heads anywhere in the country. This is an epic, down home, professionally run event founded by Kevin Jodrey of Wonderland Nursery. It is absolutely worth it to road trip down there to be a part of the festivities.
Shango will be speaking at the Imperious Cannabis Expo in Phoenix, AZ. He will be moderating the discussion panels as he did at the Imperious Expo in Tacoma, WA in 2016. The Shaping Fire podcast will have a booth at the event. Stop in and say hello!
